A prison governor had to undergo facial reconstructive surgery after being severely wounded by an inmate during a attack at Wayland prison in Norfolk. The assault which took place in the prison canteen last week, reportedly left the screw head with a collapsed eye socket, fractured cheekbone and broken nose. Reports say that he had a titanium plate inserted into his head during surgery.
