Newcastle: Wild youth involved in roof confrontation with cops escapes court

A wild youth, who brought chaos to a quiet suburban street during an eight-hour stand-off on a roof with cops, bolted from court after being told he was to be locked up. In dramatic scenes, the youth sprinted out of the courtroom as security scum were attempting to take his freedom. He barged past the screws before fleeing the building, leaving a shocked judicial minions in his wake

On April 30 this year, the youth and his two mates climbed on roofs of houses and flats on Buxton Gardens in Westerhope, Newcastle, and hurled bricks and tiles at cops who tried to arrest them. During the stand-off, 21 cops, including seven riot cops, the fire service and the ambulance service were all called out. Missiles bounced off the shields of riot police as they advanced and one cracked the windscreen of a nearby parked Range Rover. The youths only came down from the roof after one of them suffered a leg injury, who was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle but escaped while he was there. Continue reading

London: Riot in Forest Gate after cops kill man during police search

Info is filtering through of a riot last night in Forest Gate, London during a protest at the killing of 25 year old father of one Edir Frederico Da Costa (known as Edson), after he was beaten brutally during a stop by cop assassins. Protesters claim that Edir had CS spray used aginst him, suffered from a broken neck or other spinal injuries and that he had bleeding to the brain countering the claim of the postmortem which they say is covering up the real violence of the racist Met cops. Edson was stopped in a car with three others by cops which has become too much of a repeated sight in the outer areas of London, stopping those of a different background, stigmitised by the state & media as a criminal element.

Earlier on Sunday evening, Head cop assassin Ian Larnder stood in the middle of a group of protesters outside Forest Gate cop shop spilling out lies and trying to calm tensions, which obviously did not work as the people from the area were not taking his lies. One protester rode his motorbike up to the riot cops line which was two cop deep outside the cop station and revved his engine in front of cops as music started to boom out across the crowd. Another motorcyclist turned his bike towards the cops and span his wheels so that smoke blew towards them in a sign of defiance, almost like a declaration of war. Continue reading

‘Automatic Facial Recognition Software’ helps British cops make an arrest

Cops in South Wales have used automatic facial recognition, or AFR, software to identify a suspect and subsequently arrest him, apparently making this the first arrest aided by this technology in prison island. (We at FOTH very much doubt this is the first time this repressive technology has been used to arrest someone.)

The cops arrested the man, who had a warrant out for his arrest, on May 31 after spotting him via a “Slow Time Static Face Search.” According to the South Wales cops, that search is linked to 500,000 mugshots. The man was spotted by a camera in a cop surveillance van, and then his face was found in the database.

The arrest came as cops were preparing to use real-time software to scan faces near the Cardiff central train station and the Millennium Stadium as part of their security plan for the capitalist circus of the Champions League Football final. Apparently the South Wales cops told Ars Technica the company responsible for the technology that the man they arrested on May 31 was not related to the match, casting doubt over the such a technologies ability to identify properly opening the way for possible wrongful arrests in the future. The Submissive Crowd

“All revolutions have failed? Perhaps. But rebellion for good cause is self-justifying – a good in itself. Rebellion transforms slaves into human beings, if only for an hour.” Edward Abbey

You can be the most pleasant, easy-going, kind-hearted person, but it really doesn’t matter to the “normal’ members of Society: “the followers”, those who are scared and hostile towards anybody they see as different from what they perceive to be acceptable or decent. Wearing differently cut clothes or having a weird haircut is enough to risk the ire of the “good people” it seems, without even mentioning possessing different manners or perspectives counter to the mainstream. If you have ideas that challenge the status quo, and you’re determined to commit them to experience, be ready for their anger and grudges. With narrow minds and low horizons, the submissive crowd is the eyes, ears and mouths of repression; Grovelling conformists, who, -when they are not looking out for “terrorists” and “criminals” – are busy sniffing and snitching out any of those who don’t go through life like one of a herd of sheep.

Sheep who scrabble for money, lie, cheat and back-stab to get what they want, dominate other people when they can, and beg for protection and mercy from the authorities. “Neighbours”, “communities”, and “citizens”; mostly just more words for those who fill the streets with their xenophobia, nationalism and hypocrisy. Those who respect social mediocrity and fawn to power deserve my contempt. Their world must go. Continue reading

Channel Islands prison is first to use ‘disruptor’ to create drone-proof ‘shield’ around jail

Prison island has become the world’s first to use a new repressive technological system designed to stop drones flying over perimeter walls to drop contraband into prisons.

The device creates a 2,000ft (600m) shield around and above a prison that will detect and deflect the remote-controlled devices. It uses a series of “disruptors”, which are sensors to jam the drone’s computer, and block its frequency and control protocols. The operator’s screen will go black and the drone will be bounced back to where it came from.

The new system, called Sky Fence, is being installed at Les Nicolles prison on Guernsey island, where around 20 “disruptors” will be put in place on the perimeter and inside. The Channel Island jail was initially going to install a drone detection system, but went a step further to put in the technology that stops drones in-flight. Continue reading

Mountjoy Prison, Ireland: Female prisoner scalds four screws

A female prisoner in Mountjoy Prison, Dublin has thrown boiling water over three screws and then in another attack threw a cup of hot tea over another screw. In the first attack the prisoner was attempted to be calmed down by the three screws but decided instead to throw water she was threatening to throw on herself on them instead.

In the second attack the prisoner was being refused to be let out of her cell by the screw so decided to protest by urinating on the floor of her cell. Later when let out she took a cuppa and went to the screw office, throwing it on the screw who had made problems with letting her out.

Gutting that both attacks did not leave any permanent mark on the screws maybe they will think twice before refusing to let a prisoner out.

Garth Prison: Screw gets some deserved bad PG Trips

27th MAY

A screw (slang for prison guard) at Garth prison was rushed to hospital after lags (slang for prisoner) spiked his tea with the legal high ‘Spice.’ The particularly repressive screw collapsed after downing the cuppa laced with a liquid form of the drug. He was rushed to hospital suffering from elevated heart rate and breathlessness, but unfortunately held on to his shitty existence.

It is believed to be the first time a screws drink has been spiked by prisoners on prison island, but we highly doubt that!

‘Swaleside is burning!’ Masked prisoners riot on wing for 6 hours

Masked rioters amongst the destruction of the wing

Last Thursday (23rd Dec) another riot broke out on prison island, this time it exploded at HMP Swaleside, as 60 masked prisoners took over a wing at the Category B training prison on the Isle of Shippey. The riot lasted for more than 6 hours as fire as extensive damage was done to the wing, fire extinguishers let off and pool balls thrown at screws. Again a riot unit called ‘Tornado Team’ had to be sent into the prison to quell the riot, which did not end till 1am the following day. Pictures and video footage that were sent out on illegally smuggled in phones show the rioters in full control of the wing rearing themselves up to fight the authorities, chanting loudly ‘Swaleside is burning!’

Posterity: The New Superstition

9f6dee0c6a09bd65624bc2eaa3a60f50-e1482218346557The latest decoy set up by the indestructible god of illusions is Posterity. Man has been invited to live for various motives. Once it was for the glory of God; Comte proposed as a motive the glory of man; now we are invited to live for the glory of Posterity. Nietzsche called Posterity the Overman; Socialists call it “the rising generation.” No one has thought of the glory of living for the sake of living, of eating, fighting, reproducing merely because they give pleasure. Always there are devil-gods that call for sacrifices; always there is the bogey-word that demands obeisance and tribute of all our actions. Nothing must exist for itself. Each thing must exist for the sake of some other thing. The perfume in a rose is legitimate only if there is a human nostril somewhere to be intoxicated; and the perfume of our acts and thoughts is a “moral” or “right” perfume only if it gives pleasure to the nostrils of God, Church, Common Good, or Posterity.

Man has not yet become a good animal. He suffers from ideals, as he once suffered from superstitions. An ideal is a superstition in court clothes. It makes very little difference whether you believe that an east-wind blowing down the chimney on a moonlight night will ring you good luck or that an act that gives you pleasure in the doing is “right” if it benefits Posterity and wrong if it doesn’t.

The East worships its ancestors; the West worships Posterity. The East lies prone on its belly offering its tributes to ghosts; the West bows its head in adoration to the ghosts not yet born. When an Oriental worships the soul of a bit of wood, we call him superstitious; when the Westerner worships certain letters of his alphabet which spell “God” or “Church” or “Morality” or “Posterity,” we call it the Ideal. And a smile steals over the furrowed brow of wisdom, and Momus reels in glee. Ancestor-worship is the old superstition; posterity-worship the new superstition. The “gods of our fathers” are become the gods of our children. The old bottles are filled with the new wine, but the old labels have never been taken off. We still march under mottoes and tramp to Ultima Thule to the raging tom-toms beaten by priests and idealists. Still we signal a host of imaginary beings with the gaudily-colored pocket-handkerchiefs of our latest trumpery abstraction. Continue reading

UPDATE: Hull prison on brink of riot as prisoners arrive from Birmingham

The prison system on prison island is at last on the verge of outright rebellion tonight as Hull Prison is on the brink of a riot after 15 prisoners involved in the disturbance at HMP Birmingham on Friday were transferred to the jail.  Inmates inside the category B prison went on a violent rampage, attacking screws and set fire to CCTV cameras. It comes just two days after 600 inmates trashed four wings of the Winson Green prison in Birmingham, West Midlands.  Its revealed that screws were set upon and prisoners refused to return to their cells after the men from Birmingham arrived. The jail, home to more than 1,000 prisoners, was then put on lockdown following the disturbance.

Its claimed that HMP Hull is ‘a powder keg ready to go off! They are trying to incite riots here and we’ve had a really bad couple of days here. They set fire to the cameras just after they got here and a senior officer was assaulted by who we believe to be one of the main instigators of what happened in Birmingham.’

NO SYMPATHY TO THE SCREWS, LIGHT THE POWDER KEG!!

SOLIDARITY TO THE RIOTERS OF WINSON GREEN!
