The new repressive face of riot control!

Meet the repressive new anti-riot vehicle that weighs 18 tonnes, is equipped with water cannon and gas canisters, and is apparently designed to stop rioters in their tracks. The ‘Bozena Riot’, which is made in Slovakia, is engineered to hide scared cops from ‘football hooligans, violent mobs, and aggressive political protesters.’ It can hide up to 38 riot cops behind its 24ft main shield, which is bullet and fire-proof, and can be expanded or retracted to fit down different sized streets. The shield also has weapon ports which allow killer cops to fire rubber bullets, smoke or gas grenades, or live guns at their victims. Continue reading

Belfast: ‘Coca Cola’ Bikes get another trashing
Coca Cola bikes at the CS Lewis Square in East Belfast were smashed along with parts of the station. The Belfast authorities have been calling for improved security after the ‘green capitalism/gentrifying/tourist’ bike scheme notched up a £20,000 repair bill last month.

ALF actions around ‘prison island’
Birmingham area, 8th June: Tires slashed on trucks at slaughterhouses
A few months ago we slashed the tyres of every single meat truck at Pak Mecca slaughterhouse in Digbeth. Last night we did the same at A J Meats slaughterhouse. We slashed the tyres of the meat trucks with a hardware-store braddle, and put a brick through one of their windscreens.
Above ground, the animal rights movement in Birmingham (UK) is gaining momentum – with constant outreach, slaughterhouse ‘vigils’, and demonstrations. Although we personally choose not to take part in these things, we think that it will take a variety of tactics to bring down the animal industries, and respect whatever tactic others choose, as they should respect ours. In capitalism, choice is an illusion – we cannot rely only on convincing the public to go vegan. All of us are conditioned and brainwashed not to challenge the hold the animal industries have on us. Meanwhile in Prison State of Georgia… Two screws shot dead by escaping bank robbers
Two screws were shot dead during an escape on Tuesday (13th June) in the prison state of Georgia. The prisoners overpowered the screws while being transported by bus to another hellhole. Both men who were incarcerated for armed robbery, hijacked the prison transport bus and then later commandeered another car. Also 31 other prisoners that had also been aboard the bus escaped.

Paignton ‘Animal Prison’: Gorillas go ‘ape’ on vandalism spree
Three teenage gorillas not to be out done by their human counterparts in prisons on the island decided to go on a wrecking spree recently at Paignton ‘Animal Prison’ (e.g. commonly named as a ‘zoo’) Fed up of being unable to roam wild and objects of entertainment to animal hating human beings they attacked the physical apparatus of their imprisonment.
Kiondo, Kivu and N’Dowe ripped up electrical wiring, ducts and teared out water pipes. The screws tried to hit them with transquiliser darts but weren’t able to get the right angle, so the three apes stayed in the corridor overnight in their bid for freedom. Unfortunately none of the screws or visitors to the prison were hurt in the escape attempt, but the bill for the vandalism is thought to reach the thousands.

[UPDATED] Bristol: 100 YoBikes smashed or gone missing
Bristol was the first city in Europe to get the rental scheme and is acting as a trial before other cities get YoBikes. There are currently 800 YoBikes in Bristol after the scheme was rolled out to great fanfare from local capitalism and authorities in early May with 300 bikes and 500 more recently added to the fleet. The company has been forced to recall around 100 of the rental bikes due to regular vandalism.
From YoBikes thrown into rivers to Yobikes hilariously stuck up trees, there have been a few dedicated vandals who have done their best to ruin it for the new ‘green capitalism’ a contributor to further gentrification such as occurred in London with the ‘Boris bikes.’ The company even goes as far labelling their bikes with ‘Join a Cycling Revolution.’ More recently vandals seem to have been getting creative with their YoBike sabotage of the scheme – with one of them recently photographed 8ft off the ground – in the branches of a tree. Meanwhile in ‘prison city’ Germany… co-ordinated national arson attack on ‘capitalism’s central nervous system’
German cops are investigating a string of arson attacks that have paralysed parts of the rail network across the country. Overnight fires at signal boxes and cable ducts caused huge delays on rail routes in and out of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Dortmund, Leipzig, Bremen and Bad Bevensen, caused by “unconventional explosive and incendiary devices”.
In a statement uploaded on Indymedia on Monday morning (19th June), a group called Shut Down G20 claimed responsibility for the attacks, describing it as “an assault on capitalism’s central nervous system”.
Large-scale protests and days of co-ordinated direct action are organised in the lead up and during the G20 summit in Hamburg from 7-8 July, which will be attended by dictators of the unfree world including Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Leicester: ‘Vandal gang’ went on 86 car wrecking rampage
A gang of vandals have been jailed after they went on an all-night wrecking spree, smashing up 86 cars in 21 villages and towns around the Leicester area, during New Years Eve last year.
The yobs used knives, a crowbar and a screwdriver to slash tyres, smash windscreens and dent bodywork during the eight-hour rampage, which included mostly expensive sports and estate cars.
